There are numerous steps involved in rezoning parcels of land within the Township.

In this application, the owner/applicants are asking to rezone 7 +/- acres from A-2; Agricultural Protection District to HC; Highway Commercial District. If rezoned to HC it will allow – with a Conditional Use Permit – a variety of different commercial uses.

The application must first be heard by the Township Planning Commission who then makes a recommendation to the Town Board. If the Planning Commission makes a recommendation at this initial meeting, the Town Board would then consider that recommendation at their next regularly scheduled Board meeting.
